Increased Franchises – from 8 to 16 (includes a qualifier team) Increased prize pool – now $80,000+ (previously $42,000) Increased duration – played across 4 weekends during July-September 2023 Multiple host clubs across Victoria Reduction on fly-in players – 1 marquee player per franchise Tiebreak change to penalty shootout style YOUR DEER PARK TEAM

Jay Bye Norris- premiership player for Deer Park in his first season. Fresh off a MVP performance at the UBC where he won the golden touch and stamped himself as one of the best players in the country.

Chris Ball- isn’t is nice saying “ premiership player” at deer park. Chris has earnt his spot on the team with consistent performances in pennant. No doubt in the top echelon of players in the state and adds value in the vbl format with the ability to perform different roles in all disciplines.

Mark Casey- da BOSS! Earning MVP is VBL1- wound back the clock with a scintillating performance- Mark played skip in the fours and pairs and won all matches from memory. Will sacrifice his own position for the better of team mates gaining the exposure/ experience.

James Pearce- The poster boy of deer park who is currently a member of the state Victorian team. James has been nothing short of inspirational with his performances in pennant. Fresh off a successful UbC campaign.

Tom Hicks- one of the best leaders in the state, underrated but certainly not in our four walls. Designated lead in this format, so important to get a start. Great for the team spirit and for a laugh within the group.

Winston Brackley- new player to Deer Park and given an opportunity to shine on the big stage. Shaping up to booster the front end stocks and we are looking forward to seeing his energy and performance in the VBL. Go well!
